Tallon’s Turkey Tacos

I came to college with zero cooking skills under my belt. Pre-made salads and basic sandwiches were essentially all I lived on for a while until I decided there was only one way out of my current situation.

Corrie Clapsaddle’s boyfriend makes these delicious turkey tacos.

That’s right, I found a man to cook for me!

That’s my boyfriend, Tallon, who is very talented in the kitchen, as well as just an awesome partner. And don’t worry, I do my part, mainly lots and lots of dishes.

We’re both busy college students, and after a long day on campus, neither of us feels like doing much of anything when we come home. But even after Tallon’s been on his feet for 14 hours, he still manages to whip up something quick and always delicious.

I can’t wait for the day when we can afford a house of our own, and Tallon can finally cook in the kitchen he deserves.

For this recipe, we like to use ground turkey instead of beef for a slightly healthier option.

You’d think since he cooks by profession, Tallon would eventually get sick and tired of being the designated chef, but it really is something that brings him joy, always wanting to try new recipes, jumping at the chance to feed those in his life that he cares for, no matter how tiny and cramped our kitchen may be.
